READ OUR INGREDIENTS AND WE THINK YOU'LL AGREE.

    RICH & DIVERSE IN MEATS
The ultimate food mimics the one Mother Nature intended your active dog to eat!

Loaded with 65% of nourishing chicken, fish, and eggs, ACANA matches your dog's evolutionary adaptation to a meat and protein rich diet. ACANA's rich variety of fresh meats mirrors the diversity and freshness Nature intended.

       *  Cobb Chicken – cage-free and delivered fresh each day from local prairie farms
       *  Grade A Eggs – delivered fresh and whole each day from local prairie farms
       *  Wild-caught Flounder – delivered fresh each day from North Vancouver's pristine waters
       *  Passed fit for human consumption, our local ingredients are truly fresh – so they're never frozen and arrive fresh and preservative-free each day.

    FRESH, LOCAL FRUITS & VEGETABLES
ACANA Sport & Agility is loaded with a full 20% of fruits & vegetables, including Red Delicious apples, Bartlett pears, butternut squash, and Burbank potatoes – all delivered fresh from local prairie farms and our sun-drenched Okanagan valley so they're bursting with natural goodness to support peak health and immunity.

    LOW CARBOHYDRATE & LOW GLYCEMIC
Rich in protein and low in carbohydrates to match the natural diet, ACANA Sport & Agility is free of the high glycemic grains (such as rice and corn) found in conventional foods.

Long associated with obesity and diabetes, high glycemic grains break down quickly, causing a rapid and large rise in blood sugar – a major concern for competition dogs. That' why low glycemic steel-cut oats are ACANA's only source of grain.

Locally grown, our oats are digested slowly, causing your dog's blood sugar to rise less over a longer period of time, so sensitivity to insulin is beneficially increased and fat storage is decreased.

    LUXURIANT SKIN & COAT
We infused each morsel of ACANA Sport & Agility with marine-source Omega 3 (DHA, EPA) from wild-caught New Brunswick herring to support immunity and luxuriant skin & hair coat – your dog's outer symbol of health and vitality.

    ENHANCED METABOLISM
Organic sea vegetables and botanicals including juniper berries, lavender flowers, sun-cured alfalfa and peppermint leaf enhance metabolism while nourishing and toning your dog’s digestive tract.

    FEEDING GUIDELINES

    YOUR DOG IS SPECIAL
Just like you, your dog is a unique individual and his feeding requirements will vary with his breed, environment, age and activity.

That's why we suggest using this chart as a starting point, and monitoring your dog's weight and adjusting his rations as needed. We also recommend feeding him twice daily and always keeping fresh, clean water available.

When switching diets, it's important to transition your dog as it takes time for his digestive system to adapt to the richer nutrient levels in ACANA. Over a 5-7 day period, gradually mix in ACANA, increasing the amount each day so that by day 7 you are feeding 100% ACANA.

He'll love the change – we guarantee it!
